SAN DIEGO PADRES x CALLAWAY

One of the more personally exciting projects I was able to work on was our partnership with the San Diego Padres. This partnership included digital advertisements on the LED screens, a branded takeover of the right field home run deck, and my favorite - a golf ball that doubled as a photo op spot in the stadium. As a baseball fan it was ultimately exciting to see my designs in action on gameday.

For Chrome Tour specifically, we designed a complete stadium takeover. I was in charge of designing and animating the motion graphics for all of the LED screens as well as helping faciliate the design of the right field home run deck.

When the Padres gave us the opportunity to create a photo-op spot in right field, we jumped on it. Our team came up with the concept of a golf ball that would be cut in half and hollow so that from one side you saw a Callaway ball, and the other you had a chance to sit and take a branded photo. This activation was a huge hit and quickly has become a go to place if you're a fan.

We also had the opportunity to sponsor the LED stadium screen takeover after every home run was hit. For this opportunity we would use our major club family for that particular year to tie the idea of "hitting bombs" in both baseball and golf. These animations would play on a loop at one of the most exciting times of the game and this was a very impactful activation for us as well.
CREDITS

As with any major project this was a collaborative effort for the Callaway design team and would not have been possible if not for these talented people's contributions.
In particular, two people I'd like to make sure to spotlight on this project are: Danilo Martins & Tyler Soule
